This Privacy Policy explains how Westward Land Holdings, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and related services.
Quick summary: we collect what you choose to give us so we can answer you and sell you land. We do not sell personal information, and this website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We count visits with Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that sets no cookies and collects no personal information. If that changes, we will update this Policy first.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to this website and to forms, calls, emails, or text messages you exchange with us. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details you choose to share (name, email, phone)
- Inquiry details (the property you asked about, your preferences, your messages)
- Reservation and purchase details (if you place a down payment or buy a property)
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data our hosting and payment providers log to run and secure the site (IP address, browser, device type, pages requested, timestamps)
- Anonymous visit counts from Plausible Analytics: which pages are viewed, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country. Plausible sets no cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track you across other websites. Plausible's data policy
- Two small settings kept in your own browser: which price view you prefer, and, while you are reserving, the details you have typed so a refresh does not erase them. The second is cleared when you finish or close the tab.
Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

- Process reservations and purchases, prepare your contract, and service your account
- Tell you about properties, financing options, and updates you have asked for
- Security, fraud prevention, debugging, and legal compliance

We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as website hosting, payment processing (Stripe), our customer database, email delivery, and map providers
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Your choices and rights
Communications. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in them, and out of text messages by replying STOP. We may still send messages about a purchase or a property you are buying.

6. Cookies and embedded content
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our visit counter, Plausible, works without cookies. Some pages embed content from other companies, such as interactive property maps, videos, web fonts, and the Stripe payment form. Those companies may collect technical data or set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide our services and for legitimate business and legal needs, including the life of any land contract, then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. International transfers
If you use this website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
